Mr. D. James Heatherington
UPMC McKeesport
D. James Heatherington has been a life long member of the McKeesport community. For 40 years, Mr. Heatherington served the families of our community as a local funeral director. He also established and operated the McKeesport Private Ambulance Service for many of those years. However, his contribution to the McKeesport community has far exceeded his professional services.
The JMD honors Mr. Heatherington in 2016 for his many years of commitment and service in volunteer leadership roles for the McKeesport Hospital, now UPMC McKeesport. Jim is a member and past President of the Board of Directors of the McKeesport Hospital Foundation, a member of the Advisory Board of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and a member and past Chairman of the Board of Directors of UPMC McKeesport Hospital, currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board.
Dr. Mohammad Idrees
UPMC McKeesport
Dr. Idrees is a member of the active staff in the department of medicine, division of general internal medicine and division of infectious diseases at UPMC McKeesport since 1973. He is the chair of the Infection Control Committee since 1974.

Dr. Idrees earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College Multan of Punjab University. He completed an internship at New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina and residency in Internal Medicine at C.W. Long Hospital of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Idrees is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Idrees served as president of the medical staff in 1993-1994
